Saturn is light enough to float in water
Despite being the second-largest planet in our solar system—over 700 times the volume of Earth—Saturn has an average density of just 0.687 grams per cubic centimeter. That makes it less dense than liquid water, which sits at 1.0 gram per cubic centimeter. If you could build an ocean bathtub colossal enough to hold it, Saturn would bob on the surface like a giant rubber duck.
